The farm has a large solar panel array, which provides most of the electricity used on site; the excess electricity is either stored in batteries or exported to the grid. Being rural & remote, we source our own water from an onsite spring/well.

The flower gardens are grown under organic principles to encourage soil health. Kylie is a keen flower gardener and florist who enjoys using her own farm grown flowers.

The carpet in the cottage is 100% Kiwi wool, as are the New Zealand made beds and wool duvets. The wooden furniture in the cottage is almost exclusively made from certified recycled timber.
